What Disneyland attraction do you miss the most?

With fans spanning all generations, many of us remember different aspects of the parks and have strong memories that will never die. What attraction(s) do you miss the most and why?

I'll start with a few of mine:

1. People Mover -- I know, I know... it's a simple ride with an up in the sky view of tomorrowland, but that's what I loved. The simplicity of it. There's no story, no theme... it's just cool to see moving on the tracks overhead and it's cooler to be sitting on it to rest your feet. There are people who might not be able to enjoy certain attractions and it's great when they can at least get a peak. I wasn't too big on the TRON part but once I finally saw the movie, it was the coolest thing ever. I want this attraction back in the park more than anything.

It was fun to ride a ride and just chat with friends. hehe... not that we could't do that waiting for a ride, but it's different when you're on a ride.

2. Captain EO -- Still to this very day, my favorite 3D movie ever. George Lucas at his prime along with Francis Ford Coppola and... well....Michael Jackson before he went crazy. Great entertainment and definitely higher rewatch value over 'Honey I shrunk the audience'.

I'm not asking for this to return to theaters, but I'd like a DVD and some action figures released!

3. Skyway -- I remember when my friends and I were getting ready to get on. The cast member says "last one on likes New Kids on the Block!" Oh man, we never raced so hard to get on a ride ever. It sucks because I was the last one on.

Anyway... I do love the ride. Like the People Mover, it was a peaceful ride with fantastic views. I just love that. Especially now with the park so crowded, to get away from all of that in some way or another would be even more worth while today than it was a decade or two ago.

I understand the logistics of the ride never coming back, but I still miss it and have fond memories. At least the San Diego Zoo still has theirs... too bad the views aren't as terrific.

I second Disney Wrassler. I loved, loved, loved the Country Bears. Not the vacation edition either! I wish I could find the song they used to sing to drown out Big Al when he would sing "Blood on the Saddle" for the second time.

Re: What Disneyland attraction do you miss the most?

I liked the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland. It was an "E" ticket attraction on the scale of the Jungle Cruise (although it was demoted to a "D" ticket in its final years).

It was a great ride during the day.

But on summer nights, it was even better. There was secret that not many people knew. If you boarded the Mine Train around 8:50 p.m., the train would stop on a hillside above the Living Desert. Passengers were treated to the best view of the fireworks in all of Disneyland. Each explosion in the sky would illuminate the otherwise dark Living Desert. No crowds. No noise, except for sound effects from the Living Desert. No annoying light sources.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which replaced the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland, is a great ride too. It's far more popular than than the old ride. So I'm not saying the Disneyland management and the Disney Imagineers did the wrong thing.

But, as I told Sue Kruse last week, if I could get Mr. Peabody to set his Wayback Machine for a trip to Disneyland past, I would start my visit with one more ride on the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland.

I really miss the original Country Bear Jamboree. When I think about how much I miss those bears, I want Trixie to come back and join me in singing "Tears Will Be the Chaser for My Wine."

Sadly my first memories of Disneyland begin with the construction of Big Thunder Mountain. Although there are pictures of me somewhere on Mine Train, I do not remember it.

I really, really miss the Skyway and PeopleMover. I would give anything to be able to go through the Matterhorn on those buckets, and go over the lagoon on the PeopleMover. ::sigh:: I really hope the rumors are true about the PM coming back. The Tron section of it was the best! Oh, as well as being able to see parts of Space Mountain!

Oh, such fond memories! ::tear::

For me, it's the Peoplemover. Strange, but I just loved that ride...

I also miss the rocket jets...mind you, I don't want to go on them, I just miss them flying above Tomorrowland.

Other than that, it is the attractions I want to see but never got to.... Adventures through Innerspace, Mission to Mars, Flying Saucers, Mine Train to Natures Wonderland....
