August 8, 2008: Wine Country Market

At Yester California Adventure, there's a "grab-and-go" gourmet delicatessen market, with delicious sandwiches, creative side dishes, fine California wines, and even gifts for the gourmet and wine connoisseur.

Visit the Wine Country Market at the Golden Vine Winery, Presented by Robert Mondavi.

Re: August 8, 2008: Wine Country Market

I hope you're just being funny with a typo of the word "fairly". If I'd caught it I'd probably do the same thing!

I never got to see the store, but it looks like something I would have enjoyed. I do spend my time at the wine bar, though - they usually have a tasty viognet on hand. It's wonderful hanging out there and sipping wine while watching the DEP winding by!

I just changed "fairy inexpensive souvenir from California Adventure" to "fairly inexpensive souvenir from California Adventure."

However, I couldn't find the phrase "fairy wine" anywhere in the article. If I really made such a typo, it's still there.

Sad Would have gone to Wine Country Market

I had never been to Wine Country Market before it closed. I have to say I would definatly eaten at this place. It completely reminds me of the famous "V. Sattui" in the Napa/ St. Helena area. I think the average tourist didn't realize this eatery existed. They should give it another chance after the remodel of the park.

I remember this place from my first visit. It was excellent. I wondered where it went the second time I went. Too bad. I wish there was more of this type of food available all over Disney parks!

Sad Re: August 8, 2008: Wine Country Market

As passholders, my wife and I would go there regularly to get "non-theme-park" food. It was always good, and the CM's were great. Sorely missed!

Re: August 8, 2008: Wine Country Market

Why does it seem they took out the interesting eateries of DCA and left it with Award Wieners, Corn Dog Castle, and Burger Invasion? I would much rather eat at the 3 listed on Yesterland's page than any of these. Luckily, it looks like Burger Invasion will be next.

At least the wine bar is still there. It's a regular stop for me and my wife, we love the Moscato Allegro. Try it!

Exactly what I was thinking! I never got to eat at any of these places, but I think I would have enjoyed them immensely! (But, I DO like Award Wieners!)

I never knew this market existed. I have to say though, that I don't think the table service restaurant that has replaced the market is very good.

I will say that having dinner there with MiceChatters on New Years Eve is one of the greatest memories I have. And the food was absolutely delicious, and the servers were wonderful! Truly a magical experience in every way!
