![]() | December 19, 2008: Christmas in Yesterland Disneyland has been decorated for Christmas every year, all the way back to 1955. This update to a Yesterland entry from two years ago has more examples of decorations from the past. Link to Christmas in Yesterland. What are your thoughts about Disneyland's Holiday Season decorations—past, present, and future?

![]() | Re: December 19, 2008: Christmas in Yesterland Great article! I seem to remember those trees in the mote with blue ornaments with white flocking. As a child, they seemed magical. The water was still, so it reflected the white/blue trees beautifully. Also, I loved seeing the flocked tree with the colorful ornaments on Main Street. Of course it does not snow in So Cal, so a tree covered in snow just seemed more magical. For me, that was the ultimate symbol of Christmas at Disneyland. The natural shape of the tree also looks better to my eye than the current version. I dislike the perfectly uniform cone shape it is today. I liked that it did not look so perfect. |

![]() | Re: December 19, 2008: Christmas in Yesterland Babes in Toyland might not be a huge classic, but I thought it was a highly creative and humorous movie. I love the article (as usual) but I just needed to defend this wonderful film. |
