Before you ride Superstar Limo, take a look at the façade. It’s a cartoonish collection of Los Angeles landmarks.

the ride was, ya know, interesting
"What single word is the name of a magazine, a cereal, a board game, and a never-ending series of soul-crushing disappointments which slowly leech away your hope and idealism until you are nothing more than a bitter husk of a man?"
Never rode it but it is "interesting" to see in Yesterland. Doesn't seem like I missed much. Now I have rode the Monster's Inc attraction and both times there was no line at all. Perhaps a location problem?
Good article, Werner. Quick typo: Just north of downtown Los Angles, the freeway’s northbound lanes pass below Elysian Park through a series of four tunnels with stylish entrances.
(haha my fingers typed tuypo at first... there's irony in them thar hills!)

“The press [should be] a watchdog. Not an attack dog. Not a lapdog. A watchdog. Now, a watchdog can't be right all the time. He doesn't bark only when he sees or smells something that's dangerous. A good watchdog barks at things that are suspicious.” – Dan Rather

Thanks for posting this Werner. I'm sorry to say, I missed Superstar Limo and your review helps remind me what I missed.I probably would have enjoyed it, just like I enjoy Plan 9 from Outer Space.
