Werner & Co. please give us more! You didn't cover everything, did you? One question, how similar are the actual Space Mountain rides?

Very cool Werner (and "VeRn" and Allen and Chris) for a very cool article. Some of the similarities are startling. I really hope HKDL turns into more than a 1/2 day park at some point.

I used almost every photo of Hong Kong Disneyland that "VeRn" took while he was there. (The few that I didn't use were ones that didn't show much of the park.)

If someone else is going to Hong Kong Disneyland, I would love to do a part 3 and part 4. Any volunteers?

I enjoy putting together articles that involve comparison photos, such as the articles about buildings at the Studios park in Florida and the Hollywood Pictures section at California Adventure, and the real buildings in Los Angeles that they're based on. I have several more comparison articles in mind.

Someone else will have to answer about Space Mountain.

Just one thing the original Space Mountain is in WDW's Magic Kindom.

Okay I see that you are calling Disneyland the original.

i have to agree. it's so streamlined, yet fanciful! i think sculptured shrubbery definitely fits with a futuristic aesthetic and wouldn't mind seeing something likes this at our disneyland.

I would say the closest fountain in Anaheim to the Surfin' Mickey would be Toon Towns fountain.

As a fanciful fountain, I agree that the Mickey fountain in Mickey's Toontown Disneyland at Disneyland comes closest to the surfing Mickey fountain.

For the article, I was looking for a landmark outside the Disneyland park entrance that would correspond to the surfing Mickey landmark outside the park entrance at Hong Kong DIsneyland.

Nice the two parks look almost the same.
