I believe it was 240 per theater. (that might be the world's fair though as those theaters were slightly bigger)

Would you happen to know if the theaters stayed the same size when the show moved to Florida?
Yes they did stay the same size. I did some more research and the Progressland theater at the NYWF carried 280 people per theater and DL and WDW carried 240. The layout of the theater size and rotaiting ring were/are the same at both parks.
