Deep fried foods... nutritionists tell us to avoid them, but our appetites tell us to order them for lunch. So head over to Boardwalk Betsy's World Famous Strips, Dips 'n' Chips.

Curator of Yesterland, featuring discontinued Disneyland attractions
I honestly do not recall ever eating there or at Malliburitos. I preferred corn dogs and burgers or even the healthy stuff at Bountiful HArvest and the food at the Wharf. For me I just could not stop there when there was equal priced food elsewhere.
I loved the chicken strips at that place and the last time I was waiting in line for Toy Story Mania I was reminiscing with my wife and saying that was the only thing that got removed that I missed. I didn't know that they had moved to another location. I know where I am getting lunch after the Summer black out days are over!
Best memory of Strips, Dips, and Chips and Malibu-Ritos: Trying to get a little bit of sleep on the concrete in front of these places as thousands of other people waited in line around me and elsewhere in the park to get into Disneyland on its 50th Anniversary
Seeing these pictures, I am glad to visit only in Yesterland!

Two different worlds.....we live in two different worlds
Another Paradise Pier food location that I never noticed until now. Honestly, I don't think I will/would remember anything in the old pier with the exception of Man Hat 'n Beach's Clown Entrance *cringes*.
So basically the Farmer's Market is now a dumping ground for abandoned food items that don't fit elsewhere. How many more food locations have closed down in DCA?
ugly building, but DELICIOUS FOOD!!!
I loved those strips! They were always so tasty and I was distraught when they were taken away. But now I know where to find them again. YAY!
Don't get your hopes up. Chicken strips throughout the Resort have been replaced with the same "chicken breast nuggets" at every location where chicken strips are normally served such as Stage Door Cafe, White Water Snacks, and in kid's meals at Taste Pilot's Grill and Tomorrowland Terrace.
I remember going there during the AP preview in 2001, and I remember eating the Chicken Strips there, and they were good!
Thanks for posting these historical photos of the "old" DCA. Honestly, I think I've been in the park twice since it opened, and I am prone to forget how bad "bad show" can be.
I look at these food court restaurants and think "Creatively, this is where DisneyCorp touched bottom."
The only weird thing was that they moved the fried foods to the Farmer's Marker place. When I think of a farmer's market, it conjures up images of veggies and healthy food, but they replaced it with the corndogs and this stuff. They should at least have fried zuchinnis, which are fantastic.
"To Serve Man... it's a cookbook!!!"
Ever heard of the dyslexic man who sold his soul to Santa?
Since I first trekked into DCA back in 2006 most of the places that existed at the start are long gone. I would've enjoyed eating there since I also like the Golden Horseshoe menu as well.
Although it is nice to know that the Farmer's Market has some of the menu items that existed at Strips, Dips N' Chips. I've never even looked at the menu offerings at Farmers Market, but I'll be checking that place out on my next visit.
My husband and I always liked the food over in DCA better than DL. This was no exception...we would get the strips and have the apples for dessert. I don't recall eating at Maliburritos, however I do remember walking past it on several occasions. We miss the nachos from Cucina Cucamonga...they were the best! So many places gone,, it's sad. But thank you for posting these pictures and bringing back some great memories!

The chicken strips are not the same ones that they used to have at Strips, Dips 'n' Chips. They are good, but not the same ones.
