There will be plenty of rooms available for non-DVC guests. The Aulani will be a combination property, like Disney's Grand Californian, Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, and BoardWalk. The announced plans called for 350 hotel rooms and 480 two-bedroom DVC villas.

In addition to the 350 hotel rooms, non-DVC guests will be able to book accommodations corresponding to DVC points that DVC members have used for Disney Cruise Line vacations and other vacations options that don't involve DVC accommodations or exchanges into other timeshare resorts.

As a confirmed DVC Junkie I can't wait to buy points for this resort. Fishy and I LOVE Hawaii (perhaps even more than we love going to theme parks) and having a Disney hotel in Hawaii is the perfect fit for us.

Having never been to Hawaii, and being new DVC owners, this might make perfect sense to bring us out there.
