Great article! While the Pooh ride's not bad, all is not lost for you diehard CBJ fans: about 2/3 of the way through, look behind you and you'll see the trophy heads of the three wall characters that if I recall, were not unlike Waldorf and Statler of the Muppets. Can't remember their names now or even what they said and did. Can anybody elaborate?

No problem; glad I could help.

Hey Werner, since you gave the Bear Country page an overhaul, will you do the same with the Country Bear page (Things you could with it would be to have more detailed information and photographs of the Vacation Hoedown since it hasn't been since since the Playhouse closed)?

Did anyone else notice that the CBJ used place names from Florida? Trixie was said to be from Tampa and the triplets were from the Sunshine State. It looks like when the show was brought to DL, they didn't bother to change the soundtrack.
Everyone is entitled to an informed opinion.

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.

Yes, I need to update Yesterland entry about the Country Bear Jamboree some time this year.

I also want to add a separate entry for Country Bear Vacation Hoedown at the Country Bear Playhouse. I have some pretty good photos of that one.

    Yes...

"Now, here they come, those little sun bonnets from the Sunshine State: Bunny, Bubbles, and Beulah!"

"And now here is a special treat out of Tampa, a little bit of ever-loving cuddlesome fluff: our own little Trixie!"

As far as I know, the soundtrack was identical.
