Great Videos! Its cool to see how DCA looked shortly after opening, and man was it empty.

If only I had an HD camera back in 2001 or realised how much would quickly disappear from DCA.
I just wish I had kept the original video tapes as I'm sure there would be more footage I could have used.
For instance there is no Superstar Limo (some might say that is a blessing) video, which is a pity really.
I do have lots of photos which have been supplied to Werner, so I'm sure there will be some more DCA history coming soon (Steps in Time anyone?).

I remember all of that, except, I didn't realize that "Step In Time" left very abruptly in April 2001? I thought "Sound Of Blast" came in 2002? Also, I am so glad that all that empty space is gone, (as in the case of the Submarine Lagoon); that place(s) have been touched up, (as in the cases of The Enchanted Tiki Room and the former Burning cabin,) in Disneyland.

Overall, nice article!

Now, I just wish they keep those Forever Kiosks in DL.

I remember all of that, except, I didn't realize that "Step In Time" left very abruptly in April 2001? I thought "Sound Of Blast" came in 2002?

According to The Power of Blast! at Yesterland.com, Steps in Time limped along until October 14, 2001.

That brown Tomorrowland looks even worse than I remember. Bad idea.

Although, I must say Alice In Wonderland looked better.

awesome video! everything seems so long ago! wait...its already been 10 years?!!! ah!

sorry if somebody has already answered this but I've forgotten:
-what are they doing with the old California Dreams mural aka new Little Mermaid dark ride site?
-was it finalized where the CA letters would go? (it's like the obligatory picture that was taken on many of my CA adventure visits!)

alice in wonderland looked WAY better then!!! How come they couldn't have put more inclusive safety amendments, such as a sturdy harnessing-loop or something for the workers to latch a carabiner on?
