Disneyland 1989: Help identifying this spot

I've tried my best to find this spot at Disneyland in Anaheim. Everyone from City Hall, even some old school cast members have all tried to assist me and the best they could do is narrow it down to over by It's a Small World. The circle planter that sits outside the exit of the ride/gift shop. If anyone knows exactly where this is, or if it differs to what information I have-i'd greatly appreciate it! What building is that on the left side? I don't think it's the castle...Thanks for any help!

Oh, wow. Thank you so much for your input. I am trying to do one of those "taking a photo of a photo" in the exact location to show the then and now. You're so lucky to be going to Disneyland today! If you're able to find the exact location I would be eternally grateful! Haha. Thanks again!

Don't think it's near the main entrance, fantasyland is your best bet.

The area in front of the Manterhorn. The parade lights show its next to this or maybe the area in front of its a small world also. Those short fences are through out the manterhorn, motor boat ride. Its probably been torn out after 30 years but lets hope not...

I first visited DL in late 60's and have been there many times since. My thoughts are that the towers in the background is from the "It's a Small World" if you can find an old map of the park from back then you might get a general location reference. Good luck!
