Would you like to travel to the Moon? Consider starting your trip in Kansas City, Missouri. It’s the only the city in America with two TWA Moonliner rockets.
Please discuss it here.

When I built my own Moonliner model, I was most impressed with what a good design it actually is. I found that, with proper nose weight, it will fly straight and true without any additional fins at all! It makes sense when you realize that they were actually trying to design what could be a practical prototype, and not just a Tomorrowland "weenie." lol
I remember Bruce Gordon talking about the Moonliner II and possibly trying to buy it for Disneyland's Tomorrowland 1998 upgrade. CocaCola was a sponser of the new Moonliner's return, and celebrating it's many years and image changes, and I designed a Classic Coke bottle with rocket like fins based on the Moonliner on a "Coke through the Ages" Poster.
