I really liked seeing the Pocahontas show and miss it very much. I'm now shaken to know that the Camp-Minnie Mickey is going to be the new Avatarland. I hope that they find a new venue soon for the Festival of the Lion King, preferably somewhere still in the Wild Animal Kingdom, or build a new venue on the outside berm of the Magic Kingdom in close proximity to Adventureland.

Also, this picture and my Avatar was taken with a Nintendo DSi System and Nyko Magnification Lens & Case for DSi.
This show was somewhat interesting. Good article though.
My wife and I really enjoyed the Pocahantas show at Camp Minnie-Mickey for the many years we have visited Animal Kingdom. Your article was excellent, but you forgot to mention the animal training shows that the staff ran once or twice a day for many years. These shows were kind of a dress rehearsal for the new animals in training and it allowed the kids to see the animals up close. There often was a Pocahantas there to help with the training and it was always interesting to speak to the trainers after the session.

Quote: Pocahantas (with snake): "Our friend must continue his journey."
Sprig: "He can continue his journey, but far away from here!"
I enjoyed the animal training shows too.
