Re: What would you bring back?

I know this may be Disneyland blasphemy, but I would push people mover off a cliff in order to get rocket rods back ( and I am not talking about a theoritical/ fantasy version without the breakdowns).

I always like people mover as a kid and it used to be something I wished could come back for the longest time.

Then I went to WDW and rode the TTA (aka people mover) and the nostalgia goggles came off. It was enjoyable but basic and too slow for me to enjoy. Maybe that is why so many people miss it- classic ride to enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace. I understand these are limited in number.

However, for a similar reason I loved Rockey Rods. It was a ride with a great view but it was also thrilling. It was different becuase it wasn't a coaster, but offered that kind of joy you would get.

Hands down, knock out some room behind Critter Country, and bring back Mine Train thru Nature's Wonderland

I'd also love to bring back the original Pirates of the Caribbean, America Sings, Aunt Jemima's Kitchen, People Mover, and the days where you could visit Disneyland with no crowds in the off-season. While I'm talking about wishes, I'd love it if Disneyland would have 1 day a week with no parades and no strollers. I love kids, I have kids, but it would be awesome to be able to visit the park without large crowds, strollers, and not dealing with all the misery of parades! I'm just sayin'!

This attraction was doomed from the start, as a better pre-show and banked turns weren't able to happen due to not obtain gin a sponsor. Still, I would be all for this as well, but I would add banked turns so it wouldn't have to keep slowing down. Having said this, the attraction was closed for legitimate reasons. First, the track was made for a low speed PeopleMover, and the structure might have begun to weaken. Second, the attraction broke down at least once a day, which caused major issues with people who had FP. I would still love for a company to sponsor this attraction so it could come back and have banked turns.

Re: What would you bring back?

Quite a few of these things would be easy and relatively cheap to bring back, and were good moneymakers - like the American Egg House restaurant. It was perfectly located for getting there at Oh Dark Thirty and being ready for the Rope Drop.

Tahitian Terrace is still intact and just sitting fallow, being used for special events - simple enough to go freshen it up, and put a show back together.

The rest of Sleepyjeff's list has varying levels of practicality - Fort Wilderness should be rebuilt because that was a huge part of the TSI experience. But this time use /treated/ logs, so the termites don't...
