Yup,Yup,Yup Don Karnage! I would have like to see him. I'm was that big on Tale Spin. But he was my favorite when it came to that show.

ORWEN: Years ago, I remember when Bernard and Bianca were out all the time. They seem to have been layed off around 1991--right after Beauty & the Beast Came out. Also, our very own little Gurgi was out for a short time in 1985 to help promote THE BLACK CAULDRON. But he got layed off, too (sniff, sniff) Sometimes I don't think the people in Entertainment understand how important it is to have more characters out in the parks for guests to interact with. It's a shame to pay all that money to get through the front gate, only to be told your favorite isn't there that day.

A few I didn't see on my last trip that I remember from previous trips: Brer Bear, Brer Fox, Timon, Rafiki, and Robin Hood. I have a picture from when I was 8 with Brer Fox when he took my hat and put it on his nose.

Nope! That's Don Karnage, the villian from "Tale Spin" (part of the Disney Afternoon lineup)

At Disneyland, sorry. And yep, it was during the Disney Afternoon phase. I had photo of Tale Spin Baloo and Chip and Dale as Rescue Rangers, but I had a bunch of pictures get water damaged and they got all yucky.

I actually saw Brear Bear and Rafiki (Lion King monkey) around Main Street a few weeks ago.

I ran into Rafiki at the Halloween Treat on the 13th. I took a photo but my camera didn't feel like spitting it out to my computer

I remember going to the Disney Afternoon Avenue (pre-Toontown) when I was a kid, and seeing all of the Gummi Bears, Darkwing Duck, the beagles from Ducktales, etc. I havent seen a lot of those characters since...

I remember watching "TaleSpin", "DuckTales", and "Rescue Rangers" on the Disney afternoon lineup. I was excited to see some of these shows come to life at the park when we visited in 1991. Here are some photos of my brother with some of the characters:

Did ya know Tale Spin was suppost to be a spin off for Launchpad? They nixed that and replaced him with the cast from Jungle Book.

Really? Wow, that would have been cool. As I mentioned above, I don't even remember the Jungle Book characters from DuckTales so they must not have been that impressive. I do remember Launchpad though and thought he stole the show. Then again, I am basing this all on my opinions when I was 10 so I am not sure how validated they are!
