...because instead of having four "generic" mice in front of the Cinderella unit, you can now see Suzy, Perla, Gus AND Jaq. They were brought in sometime in the Christmas 2005 run, so it's been about a year.

I suppose it changes the concept (mice pulling the coach) somewhat, but I'm all for having them actually LOOK like Jaq and Gus instead of generic gray mice!

Disney Wrassler: I did watch the Disneyland USA again. The Mad Hatter comes out of the castle in the "After Dark" special. I noticed his hands & arms were in the sameway as the picture up there. So, I am going to say they were sown together.

that image always makes me wonder if he were some sort of indian that just escaped Tahiti and he was doing some sort of tribal dance at the moment.

    Re: The Evolution of Costumes

I read somewhere that those nightmare-inducing costumes were borrowed from an "On Ice" performance. It wasn't until later that they made costumes specifically for the park. Seems like a lack of foresight to me, but I'm sure there was a lot to think about in rushing to get the park open on time.

    Re: The Evolution of Costumes

I thought maybe you guys would like to check out this old 1971 Commercial for Walt Disney World. It has the Mad Hatter in this one and I have also noticed Dopey's head looks different in this one.

Just check out how the Mad Hatter twirls around too.

Though, from the people that have already viewed this commerical have said it's scares them. So, you might need a stuff bear or a Mickey Mouse plushie next to you ; if you need to hug something. In case you find this one scary too.

    Enjoy!

I was not aware that Disney used scare tactics in their marketing campaigns!

You did warn us so I did grab a few cats and turned all the lights on before I watched it so it was not too horrifying!

Can't think who it could be. I keep thinking of a commercial character. I keep thinking it had to have some hair at some time.
