I liked the old lincoln speech better than the gettysburg address "what constitutes the bulwark of our security...... will some transatlantic power leap the ocean and crush us at a blow?.... as nation of free men we must live forever, or die by suicide"

much more topical and applcable to today than the gettysburg address

I always wanted to go on the flying saucers but was too small. i was born in 1961 and I remember having to sit out and watch my brothers and sisters go on them. I thnk I was too short. I sooooo wanted to ride them and never did.

Without a doubt - ADVENTURE THROUGH INNER SPACE! This was one of my all time favorite attractions. I remember the exciting feeling I would get when I would see that line of egg-chairs going through the microscope and seemingly shrinking. There was nothing like it. I know lots of folks love Star Tours, but I'd trade a million of those for one Inner Space.
One of my biggest frustrations when I remember the Disneyland I grew up with, is the Mine Train. The frustration is I never went on it when it was there, and now regret that bitterly. I visited the park for the first time in 1971, and then again in 1972, 73, and 75 -- I think the Mine Train was still running those times.
Country Bear Jamboree is also on the list, and the old Submarine Voyage. I haven't been on "Finding Nemo" yet, but I have a feeling it won't replace my fond memories of the old subs (especially that goofy sea serpent at the end - I was crazy about him as a kid!)

    They're both still there!

Out of the many dear departed Disneyland attractions I miss, I'd say the one I miss the very most is..... ugh, this is hard. OK, I can't choose. I miss the Skyway, the PeopleMover, CircleVision 360, Mission to Mars, the Carousel of Progress, and Adventure Thru Inner Space all equally.

Main Street Electrical Parade on Main Street

Sitting there in the front row with the snails going up to the kids. I think I may still have pictures of when I was little watching the parade.

Circle Vision was cool too. I liked riding through the follage and the Fireman seen.

Carnation breakfast with the caraters was cool too. I remember my brother crying because everyone had crowed him out to talk to the Mouse and Jimminy Cricket and Donald came over and hugged him.

I also miss parades with purpose. Does anybody remember Donald's 50th birthday party. That was a cool parade. Or the original Merry X-Mass Parade.
I know you, I walked with you once apon a dream. See ya at the park! BFA. (Black Family Alert).

I remember the days there were multiple types of parades in one day.

    Talking Rocket Rods

Oh the memories, does anyone remember them?
They were my favorite, a wonderful 2 hour wait for a lovely 3 minute ride!

I miss the People Mover. I hate seeing such an empty track. It follows you everywhere in Tomorrowland!

And the old stairs and station for the Skyway in Fantasyland over by Casey Junior are even worse to look at. It's so hard to say goodbye to these things!!!
