I think I miss Carousel of Progress the most. When I visit WDW, it's the first attraction I head to! However, I miss the "original", with the original voices, etc.

I miss America Sings and The Country Bear Jamboree! I can't believe they replaced America Sings with Innovations. Atleast we still get to see some of the Characters in Splash Mountain!

Don't forget that SeaWorld San Diego has theirs too. Same for the San Diego and Orange County Fairs.

I really miss the Rocket Rods. Those were fun especially at night. That idiot Paul Pressler and his budget cuts gaaahhh! It's his fault that this attraction failed. I also miss the Rocket Jets on top of the Rocket Rods platform. I never rode Rocket Jets but I bet it would have been sweet flying that high. Astro Orbiter is allright but for thrill it has to go back on top. Observatron was just a downgrade not an upgrade.

Yah, missing the Rocket Jets works in two ways for me:

    1. I miss seeing it up there. Always rotating, and me knowing that someone right now is having a really cool time... or they could be scared to death. Either one works for me!

    2. I miss riding it. The views just aren't the same when you're lower to the ground. And man, there really is something about going up a launch elevator to get to your ride.

Re: What Disneyland attraction do you miss the most?

    1. Captain EO (at the time it was really popular along with Star Tours)
    2. Country Bear Vacation Hoedown (never seen Country Bear Jamboree)
    3. People Movers
    4. Skyway
    5. Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln
    6. America Sings
    7. Disney Afternoon Avenue (Baloo's Dressing Room, Rescue Rangers Race Way and Motor Boat Cruise to Gummi Glen)
    8. Videopolis
    9. Motor Boat Cruise
    10. Rocket Jets
Most of these attractions I probably just rode a couple of times. Except for Captain EO which I probably saw like 5 times.

It seems that many of you like Coheteboy have been around longer then I have.

I know! I just loved America Sings, and I agree I'm so glad the used some of the characters in Splash Mountain because of this...this is now my favorite attraction!

The trolley in Toontown... sadly it just sits there now. Without it, there is even less a reason to even bother with Toontown.

I bought a 3 pack for DL Report over the summer, the $99 speical was just to hard to resit. I can remember in my younger days that we would spend 12 or 16 hours at just DL and loved every minute of it. Now without going to CA for a few hours the park simply runs out of fun by late afternoon.

The loss of the many attractions and creativity is staggering.

I miss the People Mover so much. Every time I go to Disneyland, and see that empty track, my eyes get all teary.

I have a couple that I miss. One more then the other because I have a lot of memories of that attraction with my Grandpa.

Country Bears Jamboree - This was my grandpa's favorite show. Some of my fondest memories of the park are watching that show with my grandparents.

People Mover- I know boring and slow but A fun way to take a brake from walking.

Maybe Sings and ATIS weren't getting the guests they had at one time, but the area was still a place to be at the park. After ATIS and Sings closed, guests still asked where they were and wanted to ride them. And were then bummed out to find they were closed.

I'm going to have to say I miss the Submarines, it was one of the first rides I rode on my first visit at the tender age of 4. I was young enough to buy into all the cheesy stuff. Plus Little Mermaid was my favorite movie at the time, so the mermaids really had me psyched.

Oh, forgot about rocket rods, it was fun while it lasted. Loved getting stuck, gave you a chance to look around.
