Are there any pics of B eary Tales? You guyshave helped with one memory NO ONE else would confirm--when I went to Knotts in 1992 as a 12 year old at some point I wandered off from everyone else and went to a funhouse which was very tight--obviously for kids in Camp Snoopy but had amazing windows to look thru with very cute cartoony moving bears, a wolf, and different scnenarios. WHen i went back it was gone and I've never heard it refered to--anyone else remember this? Were these scenes from Beary tales just transposed to the walk through? What replaced it?
I remember Kingdom of Dinosaurs being ok (but I'm a sucker for even the most minor of dark ride) but very slow and somewhat uninspired
what about Jungle Island and the lake with the steamboat on the other side of Beach Blvd. What about the autio type of Model T cars in the old Fiesta Village and the cars that traveles along Beach Blvd., but in the parking lot.
I miss the Corkscrew, Beary Tales (my fave ride), and the Haunted Shack... When I was a kid, like 7ish, they called me up at the beginning, when they put a short person on one end and a tall one on the other, then have them switch sides. So I was the short person that time. Years later, they picked me out of the crowd to be the tall person!!! I loved Knotts as a kid. We went about 5 years ago, and it just isn't the same...
We had annual passes to Knott's 2 years ago. I was so excited to go on Kingdom of the Dinosaurs and Soapbox racers, only to find out they were gone... I always had annual passes for Knotts and use to go to Cloud 9 and Studio K when I was a kid. After a year of Knott's I had my fill and that is why we went back to and just stick with Disneyland passes. The new knotts is more for little little kids, or big kids, there is not a lot for the inbetween.
