Yesterland-Spirit of Pocahontas Show

Okay, this show has a lot of sentimental value to me. Its how I met my very best firend of 10 years, and as such, we became friends with two of the actors, one played John Smith and the other played Werwance/Powhatan (love to PC and JE!!!).

Did anyone else besides me really love this show? I know a lot of people didn't like the Disney movie pocahontas, so I was wnoderinf if I was the only one who liked it.

More importantly are their any former cast members from that show here? *hopeful!!*

I remeber it, we met Pocahantas and John Smith after a Magic Music Days workshop, because they were coming into the studio for rehersal after our workshop

thats awesome, I was friends with the understudy john smith that became the regular after the first one broke his leg. I was also friends with the main Werwance/Powhatan, he was so gentle and sweet, a really great guy. Both of them were. God I miss that show.

I thought the Spirit of Pocahontas at Disneyland was a great stage show. (I also liked the movie Pocahontas, and I even thought the merchandise was very nice.)

I have a very positive review of The Spirit of Pocahontas at Yesterland.

Good show, good movie. Even more with the "If I Never Knew You" song.

Can you tell me who the actors are for this taping of Pocahontas, John Smith and the Werwance/Powhatan? I think either you or someone else said these were the understudy.

I enjoyed both the DL and D/MGM versions of the show. I feel they pulled the plug on this show way too early. In fact, I still have the opening day medallion from MGM and the show program from DL somewhere in my Disney archives.
