I used to love how the CM would come along and put his plastic tube of bb's into the rifle. Both the guns at the safari gallery and frontierland were mounted in such a way as to prevent you from shooting outside of the attraction.
And all the CMs were required to wear sunglasses, at both shooting galleries. None of the guests seemed to question it, even at night. Becoming acquainted with CMs in the late seventies who worked the shooting galleries stopped my participation toot sweet.
The sunglasses that all CMs were required to wear while working the shooting galleries, were a poor man's version of safety goggles. The sunglasses were to protect against stray pellets ricocheting off the metal targets.
I just got my NFFC newsletter. In the classified section someone is selling a 1970's Original Disney Theme park shooting gallery, guns an the whole setup. I don't have the 150K needed to purchase, but could this be our gallery?
