    Snow White's Scary Adventures...cool site!

You bump into things looking for other things.

Maybe some of you know about this site already, but for those who don't, it's got LOTS of good info, pix, historical background, etc., on all things Snow White, including the rides in the various parks. For example, here's a layout drawing of the original DL ride ('55-'83):

Dang, but that takes me back!

I really wish people appreciated the dark rides more.

Where else but YouTube? That website was interesting, now here's Snow White's Scary Adventures in action.

snow white is one of my favorite rides. especially at nighttime on the off season, because there's never anyone on and they'll let you ride it over and over and over.
    Mickey ears - $10
    Starwars lightsaber - $12
    Autograph book - $7
Getting a picture with every castmember you see - priceless.

Thank you, HBG2, for praising, sharing and spreading the Fairest and Scariest around the net. My humble Scary Adventures Tribute will even expand and improve in the next weeks. However, since the address has been changed recently, might I add here the correct url (which doesn't change anymore):

    http://www.kennetti.fi/snowwhitescaryadventures.html

    Thanks all for looking!

PS. HBG2, I think you will like also this:

Re: Snow White's Scary Adventures...cool site!

Thanks again all for taking a peek at my site. Now I am putting together an "Ultimate" Scary Adventures Tribute for which there are couple of mysteries that need to be solved:

The "happy end" at Disneyland's Scary Adventures.
    1) Was there anything indicating a happy ending in the original 1955-1983 ride?
    2) Was the "happy end" mural at the exit area included already in the 1983 renovation - or has it been repainted in recent years?
    3) Was the giant storybook included already in the 1983 renovation - or was it added later?
(I'm asking these because, for some odd reason, I don't remember the giant storybook from my 1987 & 1988 visits, and on my last visit almost ten years ago in 1998 I could swear that the "happy end" mural didn't look like what it looks now. But, I admit it, I may mix up the WDW and DLRP versions with the Disneyland original).

    And then these:
    4) My last visit in Walt Disney World was in 2002. If anyone knows ANY CHANGES that have been made to the Snow White ride there, please let me know!!!
    5) Does anyone recall the original WDW Snow White ride? When the vehicle approached the window overlooking the courtyard (before entering the Queen's castle), the Evil Queen parted the curtains and glanced at the vehicle. Was this window in the original 1971 WDW version or was it added later?

And please do not hesitate to contact me directly by e-mail, [email protected], if you have any suggestions of the contents of my SWSA Tribute, rare photos or pieces of important information.

    Extremely grateful,
    KEN

Ok I've only been on WDW's version (and only once)... wow DL's version is definitely different. And a bit incoherent.

Re: Snow White's Scary Adventures...cool site!

I have a problem. I know that in the WDW 1971-1993 version of Snow White's Adventures there was a cute waterfall at the unloading area. However, I have a very strong memory that California Disneyland's Scary Adventures had a very different loading & unloading area during the late 80's - and WITH a similar waterfall as in WDW version (although the overall design was less-Sleeping Beauty-like than it was in WDW). Does ANYONE remember such loading & unloading area at Disneyland's 1983-1989 version of SWSA?

    Thanks!

    KEN
