With Disneyland's recent announcement of the Innoventions Dream House, there’s been a lot of interest in the old Monsanto House of the Future, which has been gone for over 40 years.

Did you know that here’s another highly original "house of the future" that still gives tours? It’s in Dearborn, Michigan.

There's also a connection to Epcot.

I live near dearborn and have visited the Museum several times. I love this house and would live there now. It still feels modern and practical.

Absolutely cool article! I want one too!! Thanks for all those photos. Kind of a sideways look at where the future could have gone. I think I saw a brief doc about this house on the History Channel a few years ago.
