    hey i know i'm kinda late but i got some of pics of disneyland from the 80's. I even got this one from 86' where there was this huge mechanical face of mickey over by the entrance..his face is composed of gears and it was for something called the "gift giver extraordinaire"

    Videopolis—haha! I'm sure I saw all of you there. Remember Donna McDaniel and her band? How about the strobe lights? And there was a roving cameraman that went around the dance floor. Any of you make it up on the video screen?

    They didn't clear that area out during the fireworks either, which was great because you could really feel the percussion of the shells going off right above you.

    Good times, thanks for the memories!

    Now, where did I put those Sergio Valente's?!

    I remember watching the fireworks from Videopolis. It was great! I bet you saw me there! I was always there! I don't remember Donna McDaniel, but I remember the kids that they had dancing...What was their name? They wore the spandex neon outfits...

    and yes, I made it to the video screens a time or two...
