The book is a good one... I just bought it yesterday with graduation money, and it's a good read, just to flip from one random entry to the next. Thanks for the review, Weiss... that's why I decided to buy it! It is pretty comprehensive, too, although it'll take some getting used to with the fact that the names of newer attractions are listed after the former attractions that were there, if it got a name change or something similar, i.e. "Circarama, aka Circle-Vision, aka Circle-Vision 360, aka World Premier Circle-Vision". But it's still a fun read!
I agree, it's a nice book, well-written, with lots of information in a compact size. Very well done and definitely worth the money.
thanks for this review, werner! i found this book on amazon the other week when i was spending an old gift certificate, and decided to purchase it based on steve's review on the book's page. i have already read about half of it, and i was glad today to read your good recommendation, along with some if it's minor flaws. the majority of my disneyland history has been learned from your site, so i am delighted that you found the book to be pretty accuarate, and that it includes things that yesterland does not!
