MiceChat is turning a year older.  What will you celebrate January 31 through Feb 1st 2009? MiceChat’s 4th anniversary of course!

Happy 4th Anniversary MiceChat!

You may just be 4 years old, but you have given us so much to celebrate. In the past year, MiceChatters have met and fallen in love, been married, had babies, countless friendships have been made, trips have been planned, endless hours have been spent discussing topics of every sort, and we have mourned the passing and celebrated the life of two dear friends.

MiceChat is a virtual world unto itself. Each of you plays a role in this intricate system. You all hold a bag of pixie dust. Once a year, we celebrate our zany MiceChat-ness and, as one, throw our pixie dust into the air and enjoy a most amazing weekend of friendship at the Disneyland Resort.

Event Schedule for MiceChat’s 4 Year Anniversary Weekend Spectacular

Saturday, January 31st - DCA Day

Noon Meet - Mickey Fountain in front of Monster’s Inc. in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. We’ll greet each other and chat for half an hour.

12:30 - Lunch at the Pacific Wharf - Grab your food from anywhere and join us back at the Pacific Wharf for lunch.

2 pm - Patio of the Golden Vine Winery - Eye Spy - We’ll give you a sheet of photos of elements at Disney’s California Adventure - You have one hour to find as many as you can and return. The top three scores returned within 60 minutes will win Disney gift cards. This event is free, join the fun!

3pm - Blue Sky Cellar - Let’s see what’s new and what’s on the way to DCA

3:30 - Patio of the Golden Vine Winery - Announcement of the winners of the the Eye Spy.

4pm - MiceChat goes Hollywood - Meet in the interior lobby of the Animation Building in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. We’ll assemble watch the loop one time through and then head to Monster’s Inc and Muppets. If we have time and the line isn’t too long, we’ll ride Tower of terror as well.

6:30 - Meet in front of Tough to be a Bug - We’ll watch the movie and get attacked by Black Widow Spiders! Then we’ll head off into the night to ride whatever we feel like.

9pm until ??? - Lost Bar - A MiceChat tradition - but let’s not get ourselves thrown out - Please

Sunday, February 1st - Disneyland Magic

9am - Riverbelle breakfast - A MiceChat tradition for those not too hung-over to wake up.

10:15 - Magnolia Gardens (The round garden next to Haunted Mansion) - We’ll hop the train at 10:20 am for a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom.

10:55 - Mark Twain - We’ll travel aboard a real steam powered river boat around the Rivers of America.

Noon Meet - At the Walt and Mickey Statue in the central hub of Disneyland. This is the event of the year. Disneyland is always special, but even more so when you are with 2 to 3 hundred of your best friends. The noon meet is the event that started it all. And the anniversary noon meets are an even bigger treat. Group photo will be taken in front of the Castle at 12:30.

12:40 - Lunch at Carnation Gardens - Grab your food from anywhere and bring it back to Carnation Gardens to eat with your friends. There are lots of tables available in this unique spot just off the hub and next to the Carnation Gardens stage.

2:15 - Magnolia Gardens - “Where’s Fishbulb?” - This event got rained out last year. Let’s see if we can find Fishy this time around. You’ll be given a clue where to find him. Return to Magnolia Gardens within half an hour. The first three people who let Dusty know where Fishy was hiding receive Disneyland Gift Cards. This fun little event is free - join us!

2:45pm - Super Bowl Meet (Special ticket event)- There will be a special Super Bowl meet at Howard Johnson Anaheim Resort Hotel from 2:45 until the game concludes. There are 20 seats available - 21 and older please - Click Here to purchase a ticket.

3pm - Yo Ho Yo Ho a Jungle Life For Me - We’ll meet in front of Pirates of the Caribbean as we set sail for the Spanish Main. When the last of the MiceChat ships returns to shore, we’ll head to the Jungle Cruise to find out just how far a Bengal Tiger can jump and why all those freaky dudes are up a pole.

4pm - Billy Hill and the Hillbillies - If you haven’t seen this show in a while, you really are missing out on one of the true treasures of Disneyland. Seating is limited and we may not all be able to get in, but we’ll try!

5pm - Thank you Uncle Walt - MiceChat owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to the man who started the Magic, Walt Disney. We’ll wrap up our visit to Disneyland on Main Street at the Opera House for a look back at 50 Magical Years.

6PM - Hearth Stone Lounge at the Grand Californian Hotel - We’ll raise a toast to friends, family, fun, and another remarkable year of MiceChatting.
