Happy Star Wars Day everyone! Just in time for the big day, the folks at Disney and Lucas Film have released a flurry of film clips, apps, and interesting news. Here’s a quick look to help you get your Jedi on!

New Clip From SOLO: A Star Wars Story

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY opens in U.S. theaters on May 25, but we’ve got a brand new clip for you. The film is directed by Ron Howard and tells the Han Solo origin story.

AND, they filmed one of the scenes in 360º. Check it out and move it around:

Are you excited about this one folks? Tickets went on sale this morning. I’m going to see it at the El Capitan in Hollywood. Do you have a favorite theater?

Star Wars: Jedi Challenges

I have to admit that I didn’t understand this next one at first. I had to see the video to see the awesomeness. Star Wars: Jedi Challenges uses the Lenovo Mirage AR headset and a Lightsaber Controller, Tracking Beacon, and compatible smartphone to put you in the middle of full-on lightsaber battle. There are over 30 hours of multi-level Star Wars content. I don’t know what any of that really means, but I’m opening my wallet now.

You can battle your friends! Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is available on jedichallenges.com and at select retailers. The StarWars: Jedi Challenges app is free to download on the App Store and Google Play.

A Force For Change

Lucas Film’s annual campaign to raise money for UNICEF is clever this year. They are asking you to Roar like Chewbacca and they’ll donate $1 for each social media post which includes the #RoarForChange between May 3 – 25, 2018. We’d love to hear your version of Chewbacca’s iconic roar. Let’s help UNICEF raise up to one million dollars!

Ron Howard explains:

And the latest Disneyland Star Wars land construction video from your’s truly.  It’s really coming together now folks!

And here’s a little blast from the past from our Instagram page . . .

Ok, that’s what we’ve got for you. Please share any additional Star Wars goodness you find. We’d love to hear your Chewbacca roar or see you in your Star Wars cosplay.  Grabbing your tickets to SOLO? Use the force and comment below . . .
