Editor’s Note:
  • August 19, 2014: Happy Birthday Al Lutz – On Sunday, we invited the MiceChatters to join us at Disneyland to wish an early happy birthday to the amazing Mr. Al Lutz. It was his first visit to the park he loves since his last birthday. He sent us the following note to thank all of you for your support and to explain his current medical situation:  "I just wanted to thank all who were kind enough to wish me a happy birthday by joining me at Disneyland for lunch last Sunday or posting online here at MiceChat/MiceAge. As you may already know, I've been dealing with Parkinson's Disease for over a decade, and it progressed to a critical point from which I've had an especially challenging recovery from this past year. As we've gotten through it all to get to the next step of the treatment process, (DBS: deep brain stimulation) all your kind notes and in person hellos have been a real uplifter. Just what is it about "the happiest place on earth" that for almost 60 years brings such nice people together? It must be something in the air there..."  -Al Lutz
