Alice In Wonderland’s 70th Un-Unbirthday is approaching very soon (on July 28!) and we are celebrating by highlighting some very special merchandise! Alice’s 70th Anniversary Presents from Loungefly
Cheshire Cat Crossbody Purse
This crossbody purse, made in the likeness of everybody’s favorite grinning cat, is my favorite of the Loungefly offerings. The clever design would work perfectly as an accessory to a Disneybound Alice outfit or just to add a little Wonderland whimsy into your daily life. The Cheshire Cat’s smiling face is appliquéd on one side, which unfortunately limits which side you would wear the crossbody purse on for the full effect. But to be perfectly honest, for a purse this essential to my Alice in Wonderland-obsessed heart, I would be willing to adjust my purse location. The shoulder straps are also removable for those who would prefer to use it as a handbag. As a fuzzy bonus, the Cheshire Cat’s fluffy tail, sewn to the zipper pull. And to top it off, Cheshire’s grin, eyes, and stripes glow when under a black light (like, say, while riding Disneyland’s Alice In Wonderland attraction).

Alice In Wonderland Red Rose Crossbody Purse
Who doesn’t love the talking flowers from the Golden Afternoon scene? This crossbody purse has a slightly more upscale look than Cheshire’s, in part because of its color scheme as well the metal chain used for a portion of the shoulder strap. Plus, roses just look classy, don’t they? A Bread-and-Butterfly is attached to the purse’s zipper pull. One of the aspects I appreciate most about this one is the layered look on the rose’s petals and leaves.

Alice Cosplay Mini-Backpack with Wristlet
If you ask me, there just isn’t enough merchandise of Dinah, Alice’s sweet little kitty. Loungefly is thankfully helping to rectify the situation with this Alice Cosplay Mini-Backpack with matching Dinah Wristlet. The Wristlet can be attached to the Mini-Backpack or used by itself with the wrist strap or on your belt via the back belt loop (you can remove the wrist strap). Both the Mini-Backpack and Wristlet have some daisy decorations, likely to evoke the opening scene where Alice is in “a world of her own” amidst the field of flowers with Dinah.

A Very Merry UnBirthday Mini-Backpack
This festive Mini-Backpack depicts the Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Dormouse having one of their mad tea parties. The front zippered compartment is made in the shape of a teacup. Appliqué art of the silly trio are attached above it. The fireworks combined with the Dormouse floating down with an umbrella are taken from The Unbirthday Song scene. And to top it off, the backside of the backpack has the song’s explosive cake with the phrase “A very merry unbirthday to you.”

Alice In Wonderland AEIOU Long Sleeve T-Shirt
Trippy tie-dye and that psychedelic Caterpillar are such a perfect combination. On the front of this long sleeve shirt is art of Alice and the Caterpillar (note that his hookah seems to be missing). The letters A, E, I, O, and U run along the length of the sleeves. They were what the Caterpillar was singing about before Alice so rudely interrupted him.

Alice Daisy Collared Dress
If you are going to a tea party, you really should dress for the occasion. This collared dress (which comes in plus sizes as well) has a forgiving, stretchy fit. The print used includes images of Alice, Dinah, and the White Rabbit, with some daisies sprinkled in for good measure.

Alice in Wonderland AOP T-Shirt
This all-over print T-shirt is certainly eye-catching. The print is packed with Alice, the White Rabbit, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Cheshire Cat. Is this style of shirt your cup of tea or is it a tad too busy?

Alice in Wonderland Anniversary Flannel
Cakeworthy has a whole line of different pop culture-inspired flannel shirts and this one is definitely my favorite. The line “Do you suppose she’s a wildflower?” is taken from the Golden Afternoon scene with the anthropomorphic flowers and one of the friendly (or seemingly so) flora is even embroidered above the front pocket. Alice’s signature is also embroidered on the collar.

Alice with Flowers Funko POP! Deluxe Figure
This 5.5-inch tall vinyl figure not only includes Alice but also the singing flowers (I am starting to feel like that scene is popular, merchandise-wise— not that I don’t see why). Alice is posed as if she were preparing to sing along.

Alice Curtsying Funko POP! Figure
This Alice vinyl figure is significantly smaller, in both price and size, than the previous one. She stands at 3.75 inches tall and is doing a polite curtsy.

Mad Hatter Funko POP! Figure
Just like during Alice’s conversation with him at the tea party, this Mad Hatter vinyl figure is dipping the saucer into his tea, preparing to eat it. He measures 3.75 inches tall.

March Hare Funko POP! Figure
Although sold separately, the March Hare vinyl figure would make a perfect companion to the Mad Hatter one. He also holds a cup of tea, which looks as though it is about to slosh right out of the cup. He stands 3.75 inches tall.

White Rabbit with Watch Funko POP! Figure
This vinyl figure of the skittish White Rabbit is my favorite of the Funko POP! lineup. I love that he is wearing his casual attire, rather than the formal outfit worn in the Queen of Hearts’ court. He’s even got his umbrella and watch, just like when we were introduced to the character at the beginning of the movie! He stands 3.75 inches tall.

Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum 2-Pack of Funko POP! Figures
The vinyl figures of the brothers Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum come as a 2-pack (it just seems wrong to separate them, doesn’t it?). The siblings’ poses are mirror images of each other, which is fitting for the contrary pair. Each figure stands at 3.75 inches in height.

Queen of Hearts with King Funko POP! Figure
The Queen of Hearts vinyl figure is posed in a one-handed half-curtsy with her other hand holding her scepter. She is joined by a figure of the King of Hearts and just like in the movie, the Queen towers over him in size. The Queen of Heart is 3.75 inches tall.

Alice in Wonderland Merchandise from Build-a-Bear Workshop
Cheshire Cat Plush
Few Wonderland residents are as well-known as the Cheshire Cat. Build-a-Bear Workshop’s 14-inch tall plush does an excellent job of capturing the character’s key qualities, like his wide, teasing grin and his fluffy, striped tail. Like many Build-a-Bear collaborations, Cheshire here has a patch on one of his paws identifying what series or movie he is from. He is only available pre-stuffed and as such, no additional scents or sounds can be added.
The Cheshire Cat Plush costs $29 and is an online-exclusive. It is currently out of stock but you can sign up to be notified when it is available.
In addition to the Cheshire Cat plush, several character costumes are available. The outfits themselves all fit the Cheshire Cat (I have tried them myself) but the head accessories don’t stay on very well because of his unique head shape.
Alice Costume
The Alice Costume is uses a smooth, satin-like fabric for the top portion with a glittery tulle fabric on the skirt part. There is also glitter on the bow accessory. Combine those aspects with suit of cards motif and you have a creative take on Alice’s classic attire.

Mad Hatter Costume
This costume consists of a yellow overcoat, a collared jumpsuit (for the shirt and pants), and, of course, the Mad Hatter’s hat. Like Alice’s costume, there are glittery bits involved in his jumpsuit, although on a much smaller scale. You’ll only find the stuff on the jumpsuit’s faux belt and buttons.

Queen of Hearts Costume
Lastly, we have the Queen of Hearts costume. The dress is made of the same satin-y fabric and the upper half of the Alice costume, with a stiff collar that stays propped up when worn. Also included is the Queen’s crown attached to a headband. I personally think something elastic might have been more versatile but at least this won’t get stretched out.
