The all-new Lamplight Lounge is sure to be a fan favorite! The reimagined location of the former Ariel’s Grotto and Cove bar offers a new, playful menu of casual gastro-pub cuisine and uniquely themed signature cocktails. This new seaside lounge also boasts an all new full bar and 2 stories of picturesque waterfront views of Paradise Bay. Fans of the old Cove Bar will be delighted to know that the outdoor bar remains for those without reservations.

Upon entry, you’re swept away into the world of the artists and storytellers who have brought Pixar stories to life. Throughout the lounge, you’ll discover amusing and interesting concept art, memorabilia, and artistic marks left by Pixar regulars. We were simply blown away by this transformation and didn’t want to leave. The lounge is beautiful, detailed, and comfortable. We fear that others will feel the same way and that tables will turn very slowly here. You’ll want to make reservations and not take your chances with a walk-up (which will still be available in the former Cover Bar space).
Once we saw the dishes arrive, it was obvious the art isn’t just on the walls. The food and drinks are beautifully crafted and are as much a treat to the eyes, as they are to the palate.
The food here is among Disney’s best and is sure to keep the lounge a sought after location to dine, or have a drink.
A secret room known as “The Office” is located behind a special puzzle door and is available to randomly chosen lucky parties. After solving the puzzle, complete with special effects, you’re welcomed into your own little private speakeasy.
Overall, we feel that Disney really nailed it with the Lamplight Lounge. It’s a warm, creative and comfortable location with a great food and beverage program. We can’t wait to return. . . if we are able to get a reservation. . .
