Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, we are taking a look at the Halloween decor in the Magic Kingdom, as well as a special look at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, which started its 2018 season this past week. There’s candy ahead . . . let’s go!
It does feel a little weird to see Halloween decorations up on Main Street during the summer. What are your thoughts? Even though the parties have started, should some of the Halloween decorations be left to roll out in September? Or is that unfair to the folks buying Halloween tickets in August?
Here are some additional photos from our friend, Matt Stemerman. You can find him on Instagram here.
The Halloween party is offered earlier this year than ever before, and some might argue that it is pretty hot still and not quite time to celebrate the fall season. Universal does not start its Halloween Horror Nights event until September 14th, so the early date has surprised some folks this year. That said, the party was sold out on its opening night.
