Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, we are heading over to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Big thanks to our friend Matt Stemerman for shooting the photos in this week’s column while my camera was out for repair. Let’s go!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event at the Magic Kingdom. It is a unique opportunity to see the park in its spellbinding holiday magic. Tickets range between $95-$125 and are good for a full night of Christmas cheer. This party runs from now until the 21st of December on select nights and nearly all of the dates are available to attend.
While the park is in full swing of the party, there are a handful of attractions that remain open. Crowd favorites like Big Thunder, Dumbo, Space Mountain, and a special holiday Jungle Jingle Cruise.
All throughout the night, there is an abundance of entertainment to see. There’s the Mickey’s Most Merriest performance, there’s a special Frozen segment where Cinderella’s Castle gets turned to ice thanks to Queen Elsa, and you definitely cannot forget about the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! And this is only a handful of the entertainment to experience–we weren’t able to cover it all in one go!
For many of us, one of the things that we love about Disney is their spectacular fireworks. The Holiday Wishes fireworks are something that I particularly loved about the party. There’s something magical and heartwarming about seeing an amazing display of fireworks with a pairing of classic Christmas songs, all among people who share the holiday spirit.
Well, that does it for this week’s column. So, what do you think? Would you like to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
