Can you hear that? It’s the sound of beer bubbling at Southern California-based Ballast Point Brewery in the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim.

“Today is an exciting day as we officially welcome Ballast Point to the Downtown Disney District family,” said Patrick Finnegan, vice president of Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney. “We strive to consistently bring fresh and innovative concepts to the Downtown Disney District that we know our guests will enjoy, and Ballast Point is the perfect Southern California brand to bring its unique blend of great beer, good food and a family-friendly atmosphere.”

Ballast Point Opens January 16th

The official opening date is Wednesday, January 16th, though it’s possible the may soft open sooner. As the first-ever brewery in Downtown Disney, they will feature upwards of fifty styles of beer across 100 tap lines and a huge outdoor beer garden featuring family-friendly cabana-style seating. In addition to an abundance of seating, there will also be semi-private and private spaces available for events.

The food is Southern California inspired, with offerings to excite everyone. Including gluten-free and vegetarian options. The menu will offer a mix of popular dishes such as Baja-style fish tacos and a house-made pretzel with beer mustard. Ballast Point will donate $1 from every kid’s meal ordered at the Downtown Disney location to No Kid Hungry, a national organization providing children with nutritious food options in an effort to end child hunger.

“Ballast Point is born and raised in Southern California, so we’re particularly excited to strengthen our relationship with the local Anaheim community and beyond,” said Ben Dollard, president of Ballast Point. “This new location also gives our passionate brewing and culinary teams the perfect place to test new and inventive offerings, as we welcome longtime Ballast Point fans and introduce new guests to our brand”.
